Dear Parents:

It has been only a couple of weeks since we started our Spring season.
All of our programs have already started. Strikers with Coach Jon, our Academy and Goalkeepers with Coach Bill.  There are still open spots for those programs so if you are looking for more soccer or know somebody who would like to start soccer adventure, please register on our web page.
Our teams played lots of soccer in many different locations with plenty of success these past couple of weeks.
In Gainesville Gator Showcase Tournament our U9 Girls team finished second after losing 0:1 in the last seconds of the final game.
Our U11 and U13 Boys are coming back from snowing Birmingham Vulcan Cup Tournament with two finalist titles.  Both teams lost in the finals of this very competitive Tournament after playing very close and exciting games.  U11 Boys had to take the final game to over time to find a winner. U11Boys also finished second in the very first Tournament they played this season in Tallahassee at the ASG Adidas Invitational.
Our U8Girls won Championship in Destin Battle by the Beach Tournament.  This is a great start for this young team.  Girls won all the games including the final game against a very good team:  Columbus Red Star.
We also had teams playing in WASL league and 96/97/98 players who were evaluated by ODP coaches.
Our U10B White team participated in Pensacola Classic Tournament.
On top of this, we had some friendly games in town as well as inter-club scrimmages.
Congratulations to all the players and coaches.
This week, six of our teams will be getting ready for a Region D Cup Tournament.  This is an official FYSA State Competition and all regions in state will play tournaments to determine which team is the best in each region.  The best teams will participate in the President Cup Tournament on April 6-7 in Orlando.
Our U16Girls will travel to Birmingham this coming weekend to play in Vulcan Cup Tournament.

Congratulation to the newly crowned Girls Middle School Soccer County Champions:  Surfside Middle School.  Many of our BUSC players participated in girls middle school soccer season and all of them were key players on all those teams.

We are still waiting for Spring weather, so please dress your players appropriately for practices.
Parents, please stay outside of practice space at FNP so coaches and players can have as much space possible and players are not disturbed  by parents.

Go Sharks and Storms,
Coach Marek
